2001 Boxster Porsche Motorsports air oil separator

Engine

Vehicle Information: Model (Boxster, Boxster S,Cayman, Cayman S): Boxster; Year: 2001; Engine (type, size, modifications): 2.7; Total Mileage: 52500; Transmission: Manual;

On one of the Boxster boards there was a discussion of possibly using the Porsche Motorsports air oil separator instead of the regular production part. I think the Motorsports part number is 996 107 926 00, and the stock part number is 996-107-023-04. Have you heard of anyone installing the Motorsports AOS on a stock Boxster, and if so, what are the differences (besides about $400 more for the Motorsports version)? I know Porsche has revised the AOS several times over the years, and was wondering if the Motorsports version is much more robust, which might be a better deal when you factor in the time and cost of installationThanks[I'm not sure if this is a duplicate or not, I got a database error message when I tried to submit the first time]
