2001 Boxster S Rear tire pressure and wear

Wheels and Tires

Vehicle Information: Year: 2001;

I bought my car about one year ago and the dealer had just installed new S03 Bridgestones all around(18"). The car had 25,000 miles. I now have 32,000 and the rears are almost down to the wear bars, with more wear in the center than the shoulders. I have been keeping 36 psi in the rear but since center wear usually indicates overinflation, I am wondering if 32 would get longer tire life? I am disapointed in the rear tire life even though I have read several posts about rears wearing quickly. The fronts still look new! Thanks!
