2003 996 intermediate seal

Vehicle Information: Model: 996; Year: 2003; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 42000;

Hi Joel,I've owned my car for over a year now. When I had the pre-purchase inspection, a small RMS leak was noted and repaired under warranty. About 7 months ago, during a routine oil change, another small leak was noted and the intermediate seal was found to be the problem. This was replaced just before the original warranty ended. Last week, I saw a small oil spot in the garage. Brought it in and it's the intermediate seal again. This time repaired under the extended warranty I purchased when I got the car (thankfully, repair would have been about $2000). I've read all about the RMS issues on this sight. My question: Is this intermediate seal part of the same RMS problem or is it completely different? To be honest, I'm not quite sure where this seal is and what it does. How concerned should I be at this point, 3 replaced seals (1 RMS and 2 intermediate seals)into it all? Thanks again for all of your time and insight.Regards,Jerry
