2004 911 Carrera Dash rattle

Interior

Vehicle Information: Model: Carrera; Year: 2004; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 37,500;

My dash rattle saga. Well, PCNA agreed to replace the windshield which was a disaster. The new windshield rattled and squeaked from its entire circumference. I drove 50 miles out to Riverside to take a PCNA rep for a ride and he agreed on another windshield for the car. I certainly appreciate the new windshields and the latest seems to have solved all of the issues with the previous one, but, the dash rattle persists. Fourteen visits or appointments, maybe 30 days with my car in the shop all for the dash rattle issues. I have owned the car for two years now. The rattle would probably be an issue if I wanted to sell the car. But I am not planing on selling. I've looked at the California Lemon Law and don't want to go down that path. What I have is a not very well built Porsche. A real disappointment. I have given this matter more than enough of my time and effort to get it fixed. I think the rattle will never be found or fixed. I've writtern to the president of PCNA and have another letter going to him in a day or two. My local dealership does customer service very well. I will continue to take my car there for service. PCNA does not do customer service very well. They are busy, rushed, don't return phone calls I made to them in response to their calls, and as a customer, I can say that sometimes they forgot that I the customer. I have put a lot of time and effort into trying to find a solution to my dash rattle and they don't acknowledge that. They certainly have invested heavily in trying to fix my car - two new windshields.I have a Porsche with a dash rattle and that's the way it's going to be. It takes some of the fun out of driving the car so I do as one friend suggested, I turn the radio up. I miss my 1985 Carrera Targa, that was a well built car. Thanks for your good counsel on this matter.
