2004 996 burning clutch uphill & from stop

Transmission and Clutch

Vehicle Information: Year: 2004; Body Type: Cabriolet; Total Mileage: 2400;

Hi. I have a problem of burning clutch from stop going uphill,(this makes me scared going to san francisco) and from stop tryng to accelerate fast. Is there a technic to avoid this? What is the best rpm prior to depressing clutch pedal if I want to accelerate fast? (i.e. a corvette on my side from stop to an open road.) Thanks!
