2004 996 C2 Coupe European Suspension

Suspension and Steering

Vehicle Information: Year: '04; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 1500;

I have an '04 C2 6 Speed 996 Coupe with standard, not M030, suspension. I will use the car on the street 95% of the time. I would like to lower the car, tighten its turn in a bit, but prefer to avoid stiffening the ride if possible. After reading all the articles and questions regarding 996 lowering etc., from the PCA website, I have decided to change my springs to the European standard springs (which I beleive you have called "lowering springs"), but leave the rest of the suspension alone. I would like your help with the following:1) Are your recommendations for lowering earlier (i.e., 99 - 01) 996's still applicable for the '04 model year - that means that it is good to swap only the springs? I can leave the shocks, sway bars and bump stops as is?2)Can you tell me the Porsche part numbers for the front and rear standard European springs for an 04, C2, 6 speed coupe?3) Can you tell me the alignment spec's for the car with the European stock springs? (Are they the same as for the US springs?)4) Aside from changing the springs and adjusting the alignment, is there anything else I should do with regard to the lowering/improving street handling? Do you recommend spacers, for instance?Thank you for your help.
