2004 996 Engine overheat on track

Vehicle Information: Model: 996; Year: 2004; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 51K;

I just had my front bumper replaced with a turbo bumper. The air ducts for the radiators did not fit but with the larger openings I figured the car would be fine. I also replaced the wing with a strosek with the air intakes on the sides. At the track this weekend after 15-20 min of hard running the engine temp went up to 247 before I caught it. I then backed off for a lap and the temp went back down to 185-190 where it usally ran before I replaced this stuff. Could it be that there are not ducts for the radiators or lack of air to the engine? Or could it have nothing to do with this and just a coincidence? Are there any kits for the air ducts..I looked at a turbo and the radiators seem to be mounted much closer to the front openings. I know I have a lot of questions but any reply would be much apreciated.
