2004 GT3 Set-up for the track

Suspension and Steering

Vehicle Information: Model: GT3; Year: 2004; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 20,000;

Joel,I have been reading the answers to other questions regarding track preparation for the GT3. I have a stock GT3 that is to be used mostly for track events (I'd say 70% Track/30% Street). I have been running the car stock with Toyo RA-1s but would like to refine the handling. I will soon install the Euro GT3 seats and Techquipment rollbar/harnesses. A few questions I have:1) I understand your "recipe" is to put in the 993 Euro RS/GT2 motor mounts with ERP rear toe links and kinematic arms (adjusted for minimum bump steer). What would I notice on the track with this set up? 2) Would you recommend changing the suspension to monoballs? 3) Motons?4) What alignment settings do you recommend?4) In what order would you recommend the changes be made?5) To install the harness belts, are they secured to the floor or seats (Euro GT3 seats have anchoring points)?6) What benefit would the GT3 RS clutch have for my purposes?7) Lastly, what is your take on driving gear for DE's? Do you recommend driving suits, nomex underwear and HANS?I plan on having an experienced Porsche technician do all the work.Thanks for your always prompt and thorough answer to our questions.
