2005 GT3 Starting engine after winter storage

Engine

Vehicle Information: Model: GT3; Year: 2005; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 5000;

Hello Joel,I am about to wake my baby from her long winter nap and was wondering about the best way to fire-up the engine. The car is in unheated storage. Is it possible to disable the fuel pump and crank the engine to build oil pressure prior to actually starting the engine? Is this even advisable? Or should I just start her up after doing a good visual look over? The battery has been out of the car and on a trickle charger.Thanks,Jim
