2005 X51 Intermediate Shaft

Model: 911c4, Year:2001, Mileage:101000, Type of use:Both Street & Track
I have a new replacement motor from Porsche made in 2005 and shipped in 2008. It is the 996 3.6L X51 motor which was supposed to have all the improvements over earlier motors and upgraded parts as well. Do I need to worry about the intermediate shaft bearing on the new motor? I have not been able to find out any info on the X51. The description is Ersatzmotor 3,6L X51 05 S M9603 . Any light you can shed on this is appreciated. I have this motor because the intermediate shaft failed on my 3.4L motor and I would not like to have it happen again. Thanks
