The belt I had on the was a Contitech AXV10X710. I tried a new outer flange, and that didnt seem to make any difference. I decided to tinker with the belt situation a little. Rather than trying the OEM belt I opted for the Contitech AXV10X700. Now I have 4 shims on the inside and about 3/8" deflection. What is your opinion on the use of a smaller belt? Do you think the OEM belt would make a difference? Am I just giving this too much thought?
