3.2 liter EFI adapted to 3.0 Euro

Engine

Vehicle Information: Year: 1980; Body Type: Coupe;

I have a modified 3.0 liter Euro SC. It currently has 46 MM webbers, sport cams, SSI's, and a Dansak sport exhaust. It was totally rebuilt just over 2,000. miles ago. It runs well and pulls hard, but I'm not real fond of carburators (gas fumes in the garage)so I was looking for alternatives such as buying and reinstalling the CIS system or an aftermarket fuel injection system. Our mechanic is a factory trained Porsche tech with over 25 years experience recommended installing the 3.2 EFI system. This will perform much better than the CIS and also give better fuel economy. We'll need to get the 3.2 intake manifold, injectors, air mass sensor, map sensor, ECU, and wireing harness. I have found all of these components at fairly resonable prices. But I've never heard of anyone doing this before so I thought I would run it by you for your opinion.
