I drive my 2003 C4S year round and store in unheated garage. Recently I've found at cold start selecting 3rd is very tough. More notchy rather than grinding. Driving the car 5 mins helps and once car is up to temp shifting is perfect.  I've had the car checked by Porches dealer where they changed gear oil and did brake/clutch fluid with no difference.  Shift cables also checked and ok. Is this normal considering -10 to -18C?

What are your thoughts? Ideas on what it could be and how big a deal it is to correct?
