83 911 SC idle hesitation problem

Vehicle Information: Model: 911SC; Year: 1983; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 180000;

Hello, I have a 83 911SC and I have some idle problem after starting the engine in both cold and warm situation. This is the situation, after I start the engine it will run in normal idle for 15-30 seconds then the idle will start to hesitate. If I drive the car for a very short distance (1000 ft the most) then everything will be fine, but if I left the car idle the hesitation will last. Sometimes during the first acceleration (specially cold start) I can hear some "poping" sound from the rear, and the car will not accelerate, so I have to depress the clutch and rev up the engine a little bit for a smoother acceleration. Everything will go away after the car has been driving for a very short distance. If the car wasn't shut down the problem will never occur. I've recently replaced the o2 sensor and I have the catalyst converter replaced with a test pipe. Can the test pipe be the problem?
