'85 carrera coupe passenger window frame

Body and Interior

Hi. The top rear of the window frame on the passenger side of my Carrera coupe was tilted towards the passenger compartment much further than the driver's side. I am attempting to align it so the door closes easier and wind noise is reduced. I have tilted the frame outward and the door closes much better and the frame lines up with the weather stripping much better. Trouble is that with the door closed, the window goes up and down very, very slowly. With the door open, the window goes up and down normally. The door panel is off and I have loosened all of the frame bolts and tried different positions. I cannot get a smooth window operation with the door closed. What is the trick for aligning the window frame so that the window operates smoothly with the door opened or closed? Any help greatly appreciated! Scott
