I was recently just pulling out of a parking space, not gunning it or trying anything fancy when I heard an "explosion" out of the left rear of my car. When I got out to see what had happened I noticed the entire rear of the car was down about two or three inches. Obviuosly, I broke a left rear torsion rod. I was just curious how common this is. It broke clean right on the inner end by the splines. It is a solid OEM-type rod. Are there any advantageous to upgrading the size, or going to gun-drilled rods? I don't really push the car hard and infrequently track it. Its really mainly a cruiser. Thanks in advance.
