911 1967 front suspension upgrade

Suspension

Vehicle Information: Model: factory built 912 fitted with 911 motor 20 years ago; Year: 1967; Body Type: Coupe; Engine (type, size, modifications): 6 cylinder, 2 ltr, stock ; Total Mileage: approx. 67,000 +;

The Car has been stored for the past 15 years. Among other things, I want to upgrade the front suspension by using 83 SC front suspension components which I have; struts, brakes, steering and aluminum cross member. The car has a factory front swaybar. I've been told that this upgrade is do-able by enlarging the strut top mounting holes. I've replaced the rear solid rotors with 67S vented rotors and wider calipers. There is no rear sway bar but I plan to add one. I know this idea is a bit out of the ordinary since this is a short wheelbase car but what do you think? Thanks, RF
