911 1970 Oil Pressure Reading @5000 RPM

Other

Vehicle Information: Model: 911T 2,2; Year: 1970; Body Type: Coupe; Engine (type, size, modifications): 2,2; Total Mileage: 148,000.;

My '70 "T" reads almost #60 on the oil pressure gauge when correctly filled at operating temp., (at 5,000 RPM.) My owner's manual states that it should read between #80 and #100. I've never had it past #60. I researched your tech section, #60 seems about right. Is #100 a "never exceed" figure? Do "older" engines have lower pressure?Thanks!
