911 1970 Speedometer angle gear drive

Cables and Controls

Vehicle Information: Model: 911 T; Year: 1970; Body Type: Coupe; Engine (type, size, modifications): 2.0; Total Mileage: Unknown;

The angle drive gear came loose and broke of the spline which drives the speedometer off of the transmission. I pulled the old one out and put in a new one. I had difficulty getting it tight enough and it turned and broke off the spline on the speedometer cable itself. What tool can I use to tighten the gear drive itself into the transmission. I have trouble getting any tool in there. I pulled off the cross member but there is very little room. Any suggestions?Ron
