911 1972 Leaking Oil Filter Housing

Engine

Vehicle Information: Model: 911T; Year: 1972; Body Type: Targa; Engine (type, size, modifications): 2.4; Total Mileage: unknown;

I have a 1972 911T. There is a slow oil leak from the oil filter housing. The leak appears to be coming from the front end of the housing(toward the front of the car) from around the very large slotted bolt. The slot appears to have been badly scarred by a previous owner's efforts to tighten it. My question is whether this can be repaired to stop the leak. I have been told that the oil filter housing in '72 911s are no longer available and are very expensive if they can be found.
