911 1975 Front (pulley) Oil Seal Leak

Vehicle Information: Model: 911S; Year: 1975; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 113,000;

Ed,I have a an oil leak behind the front pulley and would like to replace the seal while I have that end of the engine apart for some other work. Currently I have the engine partially dropped and the car up on stands. The problem is that the engine rotates when I try to break the pulley bolt free, even with the car in reverse and the emergency brake on. 1) Any advice on getting the pulley bolt broken free? (have air compressor, can get air wrench...); 2) Do I really, really need the oil seal installer tool or will gentle, even tapping with a wood block be OK?; and 3) What's the proper torque for the pulley bolt after I get everything back together? (can't find the Haynes manual anywhere after the move!) THANKS.
