911 1976 Turbo Tie Rod Wear

Suspension

Vehicle Information: Model: 911 ; Year: 1976; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 150,000;

Dear EdI have replaced the tie rods on my '76 911 with the turbo units (the old ones were not that bad except that the rubber seals were worn through. After only a few hundred miles the rubber seals have worn through on the turbo units. At first I thought I installed them upside down but reference to my manual indicates they are on right. Could the front be sitting too low - if so, do I raise it by adjusting the torsion bars? Am I making my turns too tight? Tks, John
