911 70-71 Zenith jets

Fuel System

Vehicle Information: Model: 911; Year: 1970; Body Type: Coupe; Engine (type, size, modifications): 2.2; Total Mileage: don't really know;

The carbs are backfiring when I deccelerate and when I shift gears and sometimes at idle. I tried adjusting carbs and one carb will not adjust. I can screw the mixture screw all the way in and it makes no difference. You told me that the jet may be clogged. I took the screw out and tried blowing out the obstruction and that made no difference. Should I simply rebuild that bank of carbs? Does blowing it out even a way to fix the jet? SuggestionThank youRon
