911 pull or push clutch type 901 tranny

Transmission

Vehicle Information: Model: 911; Year: 1965; Body Type: Coupe; Engine (type, size, modifications): 3.2L with PMO carbs, GE-40 cam, SSI exhaust; Total Mileage: 100000;

I found a 901 transmission to put into my car (I like the 2nd & 3rd gear inline configuration of the 901 and am aware it has to babied as it's not to strong).[1] I want to know how I can determine by just looking at it, whether it is a pull type clutch or for a push type clutch.[2] Or can I tell from the number stamped onto the tranny case?[3] If it is a push clutch type, is there any way I can modify it to work as a pull clutch type? Or will I have to resell it, and buy the pull clutch type?Thanks!
