911 Weber accelerator pump jets

Fuel System

Vehicle Information: Model: 911 Targa; Year: 1969; Body Type: Targa; Engine (type, size, modifications): 3.0l mag 7R case, 9.8 comp, GE-40 cams, webers; Total Mileage: unknown;

I'm going through parts on the 30.0 liter engine spec'd above. The weber carbs on that engine had some water in them from sitting, and the acelerator jets clogged (other jets were cleanable). My old 911T engine's weber carbs were good, and I'm wondering if I can use the jets from the old carbs. They are somewhat different, but my weber book lists accelerator pump jet sizes by number, and both are stamped 50 (which I assum is a jet diameter size of some sort). The performance engine's jets are marked 50 and 2 (two lines of stamping), and they are shorter length. The 911T carb jets are marked 50, and EW (again 2 lines of stamping). Can the old jets (unclogged) 50 series jets be substituted in for the newer, shorter length 50 series jets?? I think the only difference would be where the jet pours the fuel in, and how much it occludes the throat, but am not sure.
