914 key

Interior

Vehicle Information: Model (914/4, 914/6): 914/4; Year: 1972; Engine (type, size, modifications): 2.1; Total Mileage: ?;

I have just replaced a worn out ignition switch. It was actually the housing in the steering column that became worn. I traced this to the tumblers in the key assembly not being perfectly flush, and slowly chewing away at the housing. This, in turn is caused by my key(s) being worn out. Is there anybody that is able to cut a fresh key for a car this old? I don't want to copy an existing key, because I'll just be reproducing the worn one. There are no markings on the individual tumblers, but I seem to remember that there are on tumblers inside the door locks.
