944: all gauges, tilt roof and a/c went dead while driving

Electrical

Vehicle Information: Year: 1985; Engine (type, size, modifications): 2.5 liter with no mods; Total Mileage: 170,000;

This pertains to a 1985 1/2. I store the car during the winters and only drive in the summer. She is garaged 100% of the time. I was driving home from work today and ALL gauges on the dash (I mean everything) even the odometer and trip odometer went dead while the car was being driven. ALL needles dropped to zero value, sunroof tilt, a/c and cig lighter all dead. I got home and she starts fine, radio, clock, interior light, parking lights, lights all work fine. She was running alittle rough while limping home (it could've just been me though). I never heard the cooling fans come on after the gauges went dead and it was 80 degrees out today. The only warning light when the key is inserted and the ignition activated is the battery warning light. She starts fine. I checked the fuses that pertain and relays that might and there doesn't seem to be a relay that cross references to everything that is dead. Please advise.
