Good morning!

My AOS blew up and I am in the process of replacing it.  Well actually working on it.  My current frustration is in getting the outside tube connection released.  I am very cautious about doing anything tat might break what seems to be a very fragile plastic component.  It seems as though it does not want to release and disconnect from the AOS body.  Yes, it is quite a challenge getting a grip on it. I have reviewed about everty video and none seem to address this part of the process.  As far as actual parts replacement goes, this is on the sirface a very very simple task.  It's location however really increases the difficulty.

Question is whether there is some method to improve my chances of getting this clamp released without damaging the plastic.  Of course any instruction on how better to go about this is greatly appreciated.  I am at the point of having it towed to the shop and let them at it.  This is a project car.

Thank you for any time and attention to this challenge.
