99 996 rear wing adjustment

Vehicle Information: Year: 1999; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 55,000;

My 99 996 is my first Porsche and was purchased used. According to the options list it came from the factory with the Aero kit so I beleive it has the stock rear spoiler. Only after looking at other 996 aero kit cars with the spoiler set at the level position, and higher, did I notice that the rear spoiler on my car was adjusted upward. I disassembled the wing to find that there are three settings. Mine is set at the middle setting.Like I said, this is my first Porsche so I really don't know what to expect handling wise but I do notice that the car feels like it gets light in the front end once you start approaching triple digit numbers on the speedo. I understand that the aerodynamics of these cars can be critical. But I'm not sure where my spoiler should be set. Some are up, some are down?And by the way, thanks for great tech advise! Especially for a newbie!
