993 engine hesitation until warm-update

Vehicle Information: Year: 1996; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 57000;

I have taken my car back to the dealer, who used the OBD to determine that the car was running rich- in fact, the check engine light came on just before I took the car in, which was said to be due to the overly rich mixture. Another mass air flow sensor was put into the car, which resulted in a leaner mixture, approximately "a third as rich as it was running before." I don't have the actual numbers- they are trying to dig those up for me. The car now does not hesitate and run roughly for as long after starting, but still requires a "warm-up" period of a few minutes before it runs relatively smoothly. I may be overly sensitive by now, but it also feels as if there is a subtle irregularity in power output during hard acceleration, even when it is up to running temperature. Do you have any other thoughts?
