Well, I found the answer to my locked trunk issue. The problem is caused by either no power or a failed actuator (solenoid) to unlock the levers. Trust Porsche to always provide a manual override. Use a very small flathead screwdriver in that little space centered between the levers to actually push back the locking pin. Use a small flashlight as well to identify the pin. It's a little delicate work (don't force it), but it takes just a few minutes. If it is actually the actuator, then the lock won't engage again but you can't open the latches unless you've already got the car open anyway.
