996 turbo track use

Engine

Vehicle Information: Year: 2002; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 6000;

I have been thinking of doing a drivers ed session but am concerned about a comment in a recent response to a question about oil starvation in 996 3.6 cars. You said, "Withthe 996 turbo they [PCNA] have said no track use whatsoever (beyond voiding the warranty that is), because it does not have the oil pump from the GT2 which is what it needs." Does this mean (1) that a single drivers ed event (one day at Lime Rock, for example) will void the warranty, and (2) that PCNA really believes there is a risk of oil starvation related engine damage from this kind of track use, as opposed to actual racing? Thanks, as always.
