I've a 2002 C4 Cab with 64k miles & similar to another gent, my ABS/PSM fault lights come on. It first happened after the car was outside overnight in 40 degreeF damp weather. She's usually garaged. I drove it carefully & stopped for gas-she'd reached normal temperature by then. When I re-started, there were no fault lights. Over the past week, this has repeated - lights on when cold, drove, stopped and when re-started, no warning lights. Porsche mechanics all are about 50 miles away. Is this intermitant on off truly a danger that needs to be remidied very promptly or can it wait until my next check up, oil change planned in another 1k miles? Its really a hassel getting to my Porsche guy. Is there something that I can do to correct without a garage full of special tools & diagnostic stuff.
