ABS/PDAS control module

Electrical and Electronic

Model: 911, Year:1989, Mileage:107000, Type of use:Street use only
The ABS/PDAS control module in my 1989 Carrera 4 (964) failed JUST AFTER I BOUGHT THE CAR! This was confirmed by my Durametric code reader and by the Bosch clone code reader at our local specialist. I had the module rebuilt by Autotek in England ($800--cheap compared to $5700 for a new one). But when it was reconnected, it seemed not to work and the code readers could not find it. Back to England it went and Autotek rechecked it--apparently it is fine. So now I need to look for problems in the big connector that attaches to the module, and then in wiring. Any suggestions? I'm puzzled because the code readers were able to find and diagnose the module as defective before it was rebuilt, which suggests that the connection was good--and no-one has touched the wiring since.
