Air Conditioning Hoses

Heating and Ventilation

Pending a prepurchase inspection by certified tecnician I plan on purchasing a 1984 911 next month. The car is reported to be in excellent condition. The current reports the only problem with the car is that air conditioninng hoses needed replacing. His shop has quoted $1000 for the work. R134a conversion has been completed. Is the replacement of these hoses a do it yourself type of repair? I am somewhat mechanically inclined but not a pro by a long shot. If repair is DYI, how much time and money should I budget?Thank youBill
