alarm diasarm with key

Electrical and Electronic

Model: carrera, Year:1997, Mileage:90000, Type of use:Street use only
The other day I crushed my key fob in the back door of my wifes LR, I left them on the bumper. After closing the door I noticed 1/3 of the for sticking out, I knew right then. The light on the remote work now, but does not disarm or unlock. The car is a 1997 993 carrera with alarm and immobilizer.I have seacrhed and read "reprogaming the remote made easy" and many other posts so I am some what ready.Things I have done:-Changed the remote battery-ordered 2 new fob's-read and reread page 20 in my manual-located my key card and immobilize code-called Porsche service to please my Wife.I do not have a second fob that is programedAll I have managed to do is set off the alarm 10+ time, and open the door with the key.I think that the Unlock,Lock,Unlock in step one is to disarm the alarm? What am I doing wrong. I put the key in turn to unlock, alarm starts, turn to lock, turn to unlock pull handle ,open door , put key in and turn till dash lights come on. The alarm is still going off, the immobilizer light is flashing with the alarmI know that i'm just not getting it.Some one please point out my disfunction.
