My car has the O.E.M. Porsche "alarm-system" on it , ( the one where the alarm is armed thru the manual locking of the door-key-lock , and has the "LED" blinkers in the inside door lock-knobs) Now when I prime, (lock the door) , the alarm fails to go off ( neither the audiable, nor the lights flash) , when one of the doors' handles is attempted to be opened? It used to work , and the only changes were that of the fog-lights being removed and one passenger-side-parking-light , which was replaced with an oil-cooler-scoop. Would this somehow effect the operation of the factory alarm system?
