I recently upgraded my radio. The radio that I replaced was an aftermarket radio that the previous owner had installed. The old radio never picked up AM at all. The new radio does not receive AM either. There is a little black wire with a small white rectangular connector attached to the antenna. I suspect that is the wire that was connected to the factory antenna. My question is does that connector want 12 volts or a ground or something else? I don't want to pump 12 volts to the system and fry it because it wanted a ground.
