Antenna Connector Base

Body

Vehicle Information: Model(924/944/968): 924S; Year: 1987; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 49,500;

My 924 was ordered with an optional radio that is identified as a Blaupunkt Reno (Model SQR 46) on the window sticker. It also has a removable, short rubberized black antenna - about 12". On the window sticker it is listed as a lockable antenna. I assume, but am not certain, that the antenna is OEM. The problem - I was removing the antenna from the connector base and during the simple process, the entire connector base that the antenna screws into became loose. Plus, I am now having difficulties removing the antenna from the connector base. Is there a way to tighten the connector base back into the fender? I am unable to access the connector from inside/behind/underneath the fender. The connector base is completely loose and I am scared to drive the car fearing that the connector base will move/rattle and scratch the fender. Thanks for all the great advice and information - you are a wealth of experience & knowledge!
