In regards to trickle charging, you have repeatedly stated that the battery needs to be properly vented to reduce the accumulation of explosive gasses. My question deals with the proper ventilation of the battery. My battery has an overflow tube that exits beneath my car. Will this tube adequately vent the gasses??? If not, do you advocate leaving the front trunk lid open to vent gasses??If this is required, is there an easier way to extinguish the trunk light rather than removing the lens and pulling the electrical plug. If the vent tube is adequate to allow the accumulated gasses to escape, is storing the car in a ventilated garage adequate.thanks for your response in advance
