Battery Drainage

Electrical and Electronic

Vehicle Information: Year: 2000; Engine (type, size, modifications): Stock; Total Mileage: 31,000; Transmission: Manual;

I recently went on a trip for 4 days with my family and before the trip, I put the top back up on the car and locked it. When I came home, I went to lower the top and it would not move. I went to start the car and it would not start. The windows went down slightly as I turned the key, but nothing else happened. I jump started the car and it started right up. It has been fine since. Do you have any idea what happened, or what may have caused the battery to drain during my trip? The car was in the garage the entire time. Also, the clock was no longer set but the radio stations were still set and the radio did not require me to re-enter the code. I did check the battery level with a charger before I jump started it and it showed to be at about 25% of total charge. After starting it, I drove for about 30 minutes and now the battery shows at almost 100% of charge. What could have drained the battery? The lights were off and I am sure the radio was also off...Could there have been a computer glitch?Please advise...ThanksBob
