Bleeder Valve O-Rings

Vehicle Information: Year: 98; Engine (type, size, modifications): 2.5; Total Mileage: 42500; Transmission: Manual;

My car also gets condensation under the deck lid. I've changed the cap, which still appears to be the source but figured that I would try replacing the o-rings. You touched on this topic in a posting on 3-18-06. Here is my inquiry: The bleeder valve currently has a rubber boot over it. When I took the boot off, I was able to make the o-rings fit in place. It appears to me that the o-rings replace the need for the boot. Is this correct? The boot doesn't fit well over the o-rings.
