I have a 2006 997 2cS with the navigation PCM. In March I installed a combination Bluetooth/iPod from Cartronics.com which I understand is the trusted mOgridge unit. The self installation went relatively smoothly. Everything worked for about a month and then the PCM started to blink on and off so I pulled the fuse. The dealer reset the PCM to factory setting, whatever that is, and now the hands-free does not work. I reloaded the software and had it verified by the folks at Cartronics. My phone recognizes the itronic Bluetooth, it answers and connects, but nothing comes out the speakers nor does the PCM recognize the phone. Cartronics says that the dealer has shut the phone capability off. Is this correct as I did not have this problem in the original install? If this is correct, how can I turn on the phone capability or is this under dealer control?Always enjoy your Q&A posts. JC, Ontario, Canada.
