I'm about to install a new sunroof seal kit that includes 2 velvet seals and 1 rubber seal. I noticed that the new rubber seal is about 1-1/2" shorter in length than the original seal. Is that OK? If so, should I center the new rubber seal on the sunroof? Also, I had a water leak that ended up dripping into the rear seat on the driver's side. I ran a hard wire as far as I could through the drain holes both at the sunroof opening and the two located in the corners of the rear deck lid. Is there any way I can determine if the lines are intact and draining?
