body rubbing on left rear tire

Vehicle Information: Model(924/944): 944 turbo; Year: 1986; Engine (type, size, modifications): stock with a chip; Total Mileage: 88k;

Have had the car now as the third owner for seven years and the problem has been there since then @ 65k. The problem is, under had acceleration and shifting into 2nd the body rubs (wheel opening) the left rear tire. This also occurs under hard cornering turning right or turning left and the rear tire goes over a higher part of pavement. I've taken the car for alignment to a local Porsche dealer hoping they could solve the problem. They put the car back to specs but the left rear is still just out a few degrees. When measuring ground to wheel opening the left measures a half inch less than the right. Do you know of any way to solve this problem? Do I need to replace torsion bars.(I hope not!)
