Brake fluid warning light

Brakes

I was at an autocross school yesterday. After 6-7 (almost consecutive) runs during the first of four sessions, the brake fluid warning light came on.I stopped to check the brake fluid level and it was fine. When I restarted the car, the warning light went away, but came on again after another 2-3 runs. The brakes worked well (firm pedal, no fade) through the rest of the school, with the light coming on 2-3 runs after the start of each remaining session. The light stayed off through my 80-mile drive back home.I understand that the light gives warning not only to brake fluid level but also pedal travel. I wonder if the intermittent warning is caused by fluid at the edge of boiling, or is there a bigger issue?
