Brakes - Worn beyond min. thickness

Brakes

Vehicle Information: Year: 1995; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 96,200;

I've just been told that the front brake rotors have worn to a thickness of approx. 29 mm. The min. thickness allowed is 30mm. What are the ramifications of this condition? For a given braking input will brakes become too hot? Will there be brake structural problems, etc.? All appears fine; I don't let the pads wear into the sensors. I do a lot of serious slowing and stopping in my normal useage. Thanks for your thoughts!
