Just wanted to pass along a tip on removing bubble gum or gum from the carpet. I learned this trick when I flew on an airplane, and a person left his gum on the seat, which stained by suit. Went to the dry cleaners, and she was so busy that she couldn't remove it. She told me to go next store to the liquor store and buy some butane or lighter fluid. With a little work, it completely removed the gum. Just had this happen to my carpet and it was completely removed by first scraping, then rubbing with cloth, and then using the sticky side of some tape to remove the gum residue. It came out perfect! Pleasse pass this on, and remember that this stuff is extremely flammable so be careful around heat, fire and cigarettes.
