Bucking

Fuel System

Vehicle Information: Model: 911 Carrera; Year: 1986; Body Type: Targa; Engine (type, size, modifications): 3.2; Total Mileage: 80000;

I have recently noticed that when the gas tank gets down to 6-7 gallons, the lower the tank gets the car starts bucking and lurching like it's out of gas when going around turns when shifting from 1st to second and generally when "flooring" the gas pedal. It also seems to happen when going up inclinces, but will also do when hitting bumps and may even happen just on a flat surface. Could this be the fuel pump, check valve, pressure damper, fuel pump regulator, fuel line sending unit, or something else?Also, when is the red light on the dash that displays a circled ! and P Sometimes, it stays solid red, other times it flickers on and off, and sometimes just stays off.Thank you.
