Cancel The Alarm to allow the car to start

Electrical

Model: 944, Year:1986, Mileage:157,00, Type of use:Street use only
The car cranks, battery voltage at the coil, Tach bounces, no power to fuel pump. I replaced the DME relay to no avail. Jumpered the 1 and four connections at the DME relay socket and the fuel pumps runs. The only thing I see when I turn the ingnition on is the "!" in the center of the dash. When I try to start the car there is Oil Pressure, Volt Meter and I believe the tempeture gage have readings. The cars has the factory security system. I guess one questions is there a special procedure to reset the security system if it is triggered. And if this isn't the indication can you provide a way to troubleshoot the DME Control Unit as both coils in the DME relay appear to be powered through it.Thanking-you in advance for putting me on the right track.
